Hanx Care | Caring for your Fox Hanx

Fox Hanx are made to withstand every day use and washes as needed.

They’re likely to be made out of one of these fabrics:

  • Cotton
  • Linen
  • Flannel

You will need a clean handkerchief each day, so you will be laundering your handkerchiefs on a weekly or bi-weekly bases.

                                To Wash

Simply wash your Fox Hanx with like colors with the rest of your laundry. If you have a potential stain on your hankie, treat the area with a bit of your usual detergent and soak it in cold water for 10-30 min before washing.

If you are particularly concerned or cautious due to the fabric, wash them on cold—especially if you have a red handkerchief!

                                 To Dry

Cotton Handkerchief: dry with other items from load, or air dry to reduce amount of wrinkle and wear.
Linen or Flannel Handkerchief: air dry. It won’t be the end of your hank if you find it in the dryer, but you will have the best results and longevity if you air dry handkerchiefs made from these fabrics.

After your Fox Hanx are washed and dried, you can iron them out if you mind wrinkles. Adding a bit of starch helps in keeping them looking their best.
